As a company specialising in Early Years Childcare and Education recruitment, the importance of safety and security determines the way we approach all aspects of our business. We at Caleeda practice a rigorous screening and selection procedure to ensure that all our candidates are of the highest standards, and that they embody a child centred approach to all their work.

As a company specialising in Early Years Childcare and Education recruitment, the importance of safety and security determines the way we approach all aspects of our business. We at Caleeda practice a rigorous screening and selection procedure to ensure that all our candidates are of the highest standards, and that they embody a child centred approach to all their work.
Our screening procedures include:
- Completion of application form: Candidates are expected to complete an application form. This allows our team to identify any unaccounted for gaps in the applicants work experience.
- Face to face interview: All candidates go through a thorough interviewing process which enables us to ascertain their skills and experience and their aptitude to working with children.
- Identification checks: We require all candidates to provide two proofs of identification when attending an interview, one of which must be photographic.
- Disclosure checks: We are registered with the Criminal Records Bureau and all candidates are required to have a CRB conducted by Caleeda.
- Qualification verification: In line with our company policy it is compulsory for all candidates to provide original copies of certificates for all Early Years Childcare and Education qualifications obtained.
- Reference checks: We take up a minimum of two references, one of which must be from the current or last employer and the second from an employer no earlier than five years previous.
- Health checks: Prospective candidates are requested to sign a declaration confirming they are in good health.
- Work permits: All international candidates are requested to provide original copies of paperwork permitting them to work within the UK.
